Fly Plaid IRISH NATIONAL Tartan

A fly plaid, as previously described, is a large piece of tartan cloth worn over the shoulder as part of traditional Scottish Highland dress. While the Irish National Tartan may not have the same historical lineage as traditional Scottish tartans, a “Fly Plaid Irish National Tartan” would be a way for individuals of Irish heritage to incorporate their national pride into traditional Highland attire.
